The aim of my production is to shed light on the fundamental issues of society regarding animals and their ubiquitous safety. So the issue I’m trying to tackle and broadcast is the social issue of poaching that is actively going on in many countries. This cause many species to perish and disappear forever. Throughout the coursework, there have been many changes in interests and areas that I have focused on. The genre at first that I chose was Animals in general, then I switched to space and the unknown wonders it holds, since this is something that i find dearly engrossing. I was going to anchor the different indistinguishable features of looking at the milky way from the perspectives of the front cover and the double page spread. And in general that area of science in incredibly engaging. However now i have rerouted my attention on the topic of animals and have thought that there needs to be a message about it and not just a showcase of their beauty. Somethings needs to be done about this situation as well as showing why and how angelic they are.  At the beginning of the production of the magazine cover, i ensured that the message of "Poaching" was identified on the front so everyone could see what i was trying to communicate. An image that some may have sensitive and distressing is being shown so that the audience can see the physical impacts of this heinous activity. Animals have feelings too and the aim of this image was to make the audience think about this problem much deeper. My target audience is obviously anyone who can even remotely try and do something about this issue, whether that is adults, people in power, or even young people with a  similar passion and want to make this issue much more widespread. The one thing that i have kept in consideration regarding the audience is the verbal and subliminal message itself that i want to send. There needs to be change and only you can make this issue known and ultimately widespread tot he point where real results can be seen all of the world. During this production process, i have learnt that Photoshop is incredibly hard to learn for someone who has never used it before and that i need to practice on how to advance using this technology. I have achieved finding a suitable topic that has a message and something about it. But i need to improve on using certain applications to improve the quality of work. I have also succeeded in creating an analysis of my work and what i intend to do.

Kiss Of The Vampire [HELP]

Carried and supported by the male character, typically like a damsel in distress. This was supported with the movies leading up to this time period where women were always seen as the character that needed rescuing. However the male character also has his hand up, suggesting he's protecting himself from something, which shows his vulnerability too. Guy on the bottom right on his knees and head back; quite submissive.  Her head is back which suggests vulnerability and a sense that she is being sexualized; tight dress too. DOES SHOW A SENSE OF OBJECTIFICATION This poster was a made in the 1960's; the time when women were starting to be objectified. A sexual revolution, with the introduction of abortion laws, marriage laws, contraception. They were given more freedom.  The tags of wives were no more, it was now girlfriends and partners. Magazine [SAME] Double Page and Front Cover Analysis

It is clear that the magazine is exploring the wonders of the milky way and ultimately, the unknown of astronomy beyond the human vision. And so, therefore, the correlation of the front cover and the double page spread is that they both have indistinguishable features of looking at the milky way. The double page spread is giving instructions on how to observe, and the best way to capture the milky way; via using a tripod and the front cover is actively showing the milky way and giving you hints that this is the content that will be shown throughout the magazine. Therefore, the designers are making clear links to each other. On the front cover, there already is a mass amount of writing in small font; a verbal code and symbolic code (images of the universe), that portray what is going to be discovered within the magazine.
